VISITORS & PETS
I have a friend coming to visit me for a few hours while I’m staying at the Resort. Can they drive in and park outside my unit? That’s great that you have friends coming to visit, please show them around so they can see how beautiful our Resort is. Unfortunately, they won’t be able to drive into the grounds, as we only have space for one allocated car park per unit or site. However, there is plenty of parking just outside of the Resort gates that they are welcome to. Please ask your visitors to kindly pop into Reception when they arrive, so we can give them directions and keep track of who is onsite. We also charge a small visitors fee over our peak season, all of which assists us in providing donations to a range of local charities, including Papamoa Beach Surf Life Saving Club ($2 per adult, $1 per child or $5 per family).

I have a friend that I would like to stay overnight with me while I’m staying here. What do I need to do? Please ask your visitor to check-in at Reception when they arrive. We will record their stay and provide them with vehicle access to the Resort. The applicable nightly tariff will be charged.

I’m camping and would like to have a party with my friends. Is this okay? We are a family resort so reasonable behaviour is expected at all times (no loud swearing or bad language please). Although you are most welcome to socialise, excessive drinking and parties are forbidden. Alcohol is permitted on guest’s unit/site only and complete quietness is expected between the hours of 10pm and 7am.

Pets: Well behaved dogs are permitted on camp sites only between 1 March and 10 November each year, excluding Easter. Conditions apply. Dogs are not permitted in accommodation units at any time. If you see anyone contravening our Dog Policy rules, please report it to a Resort team member immediately. Our aim is to ensure that everyone feels safe & comfortable around dogs on-site as we feel that its important to be able to holiday with your pooch as much as possible!

Security Gates: The Resort security gates are operational 24 hours with the personal PIN or fob that guests are issued upon arrival. Vehicle access to the Resort is limited to registered guests only. Do not share your personal PIN number with others or Tailgate as this will cause the gates to malfunction and may incur charges. Visitor’s vehicles must be parked outside the Resort entrance. Tailgating will incur a $30 exit fee.

EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
I’d like to swim with dolphins while staying with you, can you arrange this for us? Great idea! We can assist you to book a range of trips and tours while you are with us. It’s as easy as having a quick chat to our friendly Reception staff who will be more than happy to help.

We have a sports tournament coming up in the Bay of Plenty. Is your resort suitable for groups to stay? Absolutely. Our resort is fantastic for group stays. Unlike motels where the members of your group will all be stuck in separate rooms Papamoa Beach Resort gives your group the opportunity to socialise and meet in an array of communal areas and facilities. Find out more about group stays.

What is Dinner in the Domain and when is it on? Papamoa Beach Resort is proud to be the principle sponsor of this fantastic local event.
